Pyramex XSG Ballistic Goggle Kit with Black Frame and Clear, Gray and Amber LensesTaylorApril 10, 2011Glasses are OK. As goggles they collect to much moisture, so their anti fog ability is fantastic but completely voided by how much you'll end up sweating behind them. The retention as a set of glasses is mediocre. Standard range use, you'll be fine. Tactical operations and you'll be adjusting them constantly. As goggles the retention is great, but you sweat so much behind them its ridiculous. As far as the quality goes, I had foam pieces starting to come unglued from the frame and had to gorilla glue them back on; so far no more problems with that. For the money I believe you are getting a lot of bang for your buck, but understand what your getting. Great anti-fog, but it makes you sweat a lot. Some quality control issues as well.
Pyramex XSG Ballistic Goggle Kit with Black Frame and Clear, Gray and Amber LensesDave HanchetteMay 29, 2010I wear these goggles on bike rides anywhere from 20 to 70 miles in length. I can change lenses easily to fit conditions, and I don't even know I have them on. I like the retaining strap, and they do not compete with my bicycle helmet for space. The Pyramex XSG is my solution for eye protection and safety on my bike rides.
Pyramex XSG Ballistic Goggle Kit with Black Frame and Clear, Gray and Amber LensestwJuly 6, 2008For occasional outdoor wear, in moderate heat, going to the range sporting events, I say these are fantastic. BUT.... I have been using these for several months in the Nevada desert and the glues or adhesive has come off several times and has to be re-glued causing quite a mess. So in conclusion, for part time use, and for the price they are very nice! very comfortable and have a lot of options!
