    Misleading advertising regarding eyeglasses

Posted by amy katz on Aug 29th 2020

The advertising said that these goggles would work with eyeglasses, but when I put my eyeglasses on under them the goggles don’t seal around the face because of the arm of the eyeglasses. So why are you advertising that one can wear glasses with these, now I am without protection from teargas!

    Tested in Portland

Posted by K. Harmon Warner on Aug 9th 2020

These goggles were a great buy for protesting the authoritarian federal presence in downtown Portland. I felt much safer knowing that, while federal officers were violating our constitutional rights and the usage guidelines for rubber bullets by aiming for our eyes, I stood a much better chance of being okay.

Good quality for price, but not for military usage

Posted by S. Storms on Nov 16th 2018

They are good a $15 pair of googles. As a combat veteran, I would not buy them for military usage, because the quality would not withstand the abuse of constant field usage. I bought them as part of my Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) gear. They are a good fit on my helmet and easy to tie in place w/some 550 cord. They fit to my face well and are comfortable for a few hours every once in a while for exercise drills and should I be activated for search that requires eye wear. They look like they are not very scratch resistant. As with any pair of google, I always keep them in a protective sleeve when not in use, but they were all out of stock. That would be my only complaint. Goggles arrived with in a week and without and factory defect. I believe they will work well for my purpose, but again would not recommend they for military usage. Spend the extra cash and get better quality for military missions.
