Regular safety glass do no keep the dust out of your eyes but the Guard-Dogs do a fine job. The foam is a little uncomfortable on hot days but I can live with it as long as my eyes are free of debris. Clear lenses are provided at work but I ordered the gray lens because they are not provided. I really like them. I also purchased prescription inserts from work and added to these frames. Guard-Dogs Purebred Safety Glasses with Gray LensPallida MorsDecember 20, 2006We were all recently issued these glasses at Heckett-MultiServe and I have to say that they are the worst safety glasses I have ever worn! The lens scratched up the first time I cleaned them and I am usually very careful about my cleaning. The foam around the lens pushes the glasses away from the normal position and in such it tends to block off your nasal passages, making it more difficult to breath. They don't feel comfortable in the least no matter how you adjust the earpieces. All in all, I could easily recommend a couple of dozen more comfortable and scratch resistant safety glasses.
