Get Safety Sideshields To Boost Your Peripheral Protection!
Among the sideshields on the market today, perhaps only those by Safety Optical are actually ANSI Z87.1 certified for safety. The B-22 Multi-Hazard Shield is precision molded from an FDA Approved medical-grade polymer. Pliable but sturdy, it allows temples to slide through its side openings, auto-adjusting for a secure grip around nearly any size lens, and can also be quickly removed if needed.
The other "B" series models use a more rigid, high impact polycarbonate. This employs a tough band that secures the side shield to your eyewear frame. The impact resistant sideshields also block 99% of harmful UV rays, so you stay protected from multiple angles. All Safety Optical side shields are available individually or by the pack, and in a variety of tints.
The Slip-on side shields are a more temporary solution, intended to block light particles and droplets, but they are not rated for impact protection.
Note: Only the Safety Optical brand sideshields are Made in USA and ANSI Z87.1-2010 certified.
