Rx Ready Sunglasses

If you're in need of Prescription-Ready Sunglasses, you may have found your page. We've included all sunglasses we carry that are Rx ready -- ready and waiting for you to have prescription lenses installed by your optician. Eyewear by Edge, Smith, and Wiley X are all tested, certified and stamped for ANSI Z87.1-2010 compliance, and those from Edge and Smith also meet the U.S. Military's MCEPS standards for ballistic protection under MIL-PRF-31013. Those meeting ANSI and Military standards are also found in our Rx Ready Safety Glasses section.

Unless otherwise stated in an item's description, these models are complete glasses with frames and lenses, and are not available as a "frame only".

These glasses are determined by the manufacturers to be able to accommodate prescription lenses. The range of prescription strengths among these models will vary, and some styles may not allow for higher strengths. Of the ANSI Z87 models, only Wiley X has some stamped as Z87-2 for prescription safety glasses.
Safety Glasses USA does not currently own, operate or work with any optical lab. It is recommended that you consult your local optician prior to purchasing for prescription to verify that they can craft your desired lenses.
