There are typicallly lots of dust storms aka haboobs, but not to bad this year. The only issue I had was that there was some fogging of the lenses. Other then that, they worked perfectly. I imagine they fit larger faces well too. they're comfortable and they don't move at all. the wrap design gives you complete peripheral vision and the adjustable straps ensure a good fit. the strap ends tend to hurt under earmuffs but that can easily be fixed. these are my safety glasses from now on. I liked this pair of goggles the best of all 3 because its design was more pleasing than the AO Safety's goggle. I use them for bicycling in the cold and dark. The lack of real temples makes it more awkward to use an eyeglass-mounted mirror than with regular glasses, but otherwise they are outstanding. The band work just fine under my bike helmet. They keep cold air and road grit out of my eyes, and that's what it's about.
