ESS Rx Insert Plastic - Fits ICE/Profile Series

• After the lenses have been corrected by an optometrist, either the wire-framed Rx Lens Insert or the plastic-framed P-2 Rx Lens Carrier snap into either the Profile NVG goggle and/or the ICE eyeshield nosepiece for a low profile, lightweight prescription integration. This allows one low-profile, lightweight prescription integration to work in two products.

Deciding between the wire frame and the plastic frame is often a question of personal taste.

• However, the plastic-framed P-2 Rx Lens Carrier is the only Rx Insert authorized for use in the US ARMY, and accommodates a range of corrections of +/- 4.
• The wire-framed Rx Lens Insert accommodates a range of corrections of +/- 4, and is the choice of the British Army.
