I had some problems with my first pair. the foam was offset on the mask when it was glued on, and the powerpod had troubles with keeping current flowing to the fan. I sent them back to ESS and within a week I had the newer version that has since addressed those problems. when it comes to fog control, if you leave them off to become completely fogged, turn on the high speed and in about 25-40 seconds all the fog is gone. as mentioned above, I did have problems with dripping sweat that caused some vision impairment, but maybe I should just be wiping my forehead more so sweat doesn't get on the lens. Overall this new version really is an amazing product that I highly recommend to anyone that has fogging issues, and the ballistic rating is superior as well. On both models the fans didn't work. Thanks to Safety Glasses USA, I was able to get two replacement pairs and they worked like a charm right out of the box. In a hot a humid climate there is NO substitute for these goggles. If you are prone to fogging up a lens I cannot recommend these enough to you. The improved 2006 models are rugged, reliable and comfy. Just hope you don't get defective merchandise out of the box. These kept me nice and dry while out in the heat for 4 hours, I only turned it to the high setting after I had it turned off for a while and it was starting to fog up.
