I work as a commercial/industrial electrician in new construction and remodels. Indoors these are very close to being like a totally clear pair and outdoors the mirror coating really kicks in and cuts the glare and blocks UV. I think they look cool too as a bonus! I have no distortion issues either like those "flat" front glasses. These feel good, are comfortable, and don't distort anything. I forget I am wearing them as soon as I put them on.
