Cleaners NOT Recommended For Use On Polycarbonate Lenses

When possible, lens cleaning should be performed using cleaners specially formulated for use with polycarbonate. Click here to view our recommended cleaning and anti-fog solutions. If such a cleaner or wipe is not available, please refer to the list of other "good" cleaners that are compatible with polycarbonate.

The following solvents and cleaners are reported to be harmful or destructive to polycarbonate lenses, and should not be used as or with a lens cleaning solution. Solvents not compatible with polycarbonate can result in the softening, crazing, and/or cracking of the lens. This is not intended to be a complete list of all harmful cleaners.
